Alexandra Elizabeth Kingston (that is also known as"Alex") has been born on the 11th of March in the year 1963. She is known as English actress. Her most prominent roles were Dr. Elizabeth Corday in the medical drama "ER" and in "Doctor Who".
Alex has been born and spent all her childhood in Epsom that is situated in Surrey. Her father was a butcher, her mother was of German descent. Kingston's uncle was a famous actor Walter Renneisen. Except Alex there were also two more daughters in the family.
Alexandra had attended Rosebery School for Girls. There were the teachers of this school who inspired the girl to try her hand in acting. She understood that this was exactly what she wanted. That favoured her to finish two-yeared edcation programme in the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. Alex soon could be seen in the great number of various TV showa and dramas, such as "Moll Flanders", "Grange Hill","The Knock" and "Crocodile Shoes".
The most popular her parts were in the dramatic series "Without A Trace" in the year 2005, "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation" that took place in 2008, "Lost in Austen" in the same year. In 2009, Kingston had appeared in several episodes of series "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" In September of that year Alex was offered a part in "FlashForward". In the spring of 2010 the actress triumphally returned to "Doctor Who" and was starring in four episodes.
Alexandra met her future husband Ralph Fiennes ( an English actor ) being the student of Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. They had been dating during 10 years before actually decided to legitimate their relations and married in the year 1993. Unfortunately, they broke up in 4 years, in 1997. The following year Kingston met another man of her dream Florian Haertel who had been the German writer and journalist. Their acquaintance was contrived by their mutual friends. They fell in love with each other and in 2001 Kingston gave a birth to the daughter.
It does not really matter what kind of role and character she may represent - from the image of classical lady of the period of Renaissance to the ultra-modern woman she would remain perfect and manage with her part greatly. Her amazing acting skills and alluring figure, together with her marvellous stirring British accent make her being one of the most unforgettable and inimitable actresses in Hollywood.
